"Breaking
News"
| This
is the artwork for the Elvis On Tour DVD recently released
in Indonesia. This is of brilliant picture quality and
in DTS (Digital Surround Sound). It is the original Multiple
Widescreen version. This Indonesian DVD is apparently
much more superior to the Pakistan release. |

Publication
of Robert Holton's book "The King Is Dead" has been delayed
until 15 November. It was to be released in August-September
but at the last moment publishing errors were found. As noted
above, EIN will have "exclusive" excerpts from the book on
the site in the next few days and photos including the new
cover artwork. Our review of the book will also appear shortly.
Congratulations
to Haruo Hirose, whose Elvis World Japan site recently celebrated
its 1,000,000th visitor! A fantastic achievement.
| BMG
Germany is re-releasing "Christmas Peace" in limited edition
digi pack format (82876665422). The track listing is the
same as the original release and the cover artwork now
contains the words "Special Edition". |

New
play about Elvis: The Memphis Lullaby paints an intimate
portrait of the King in his own words - transcribed from recordings
of radio interviews, press conferences, concerts, his handwritten
notes and remembered conversations with his friend Larry Geller.
It is 10 August 1977, Elvis Presley sits in his living room
at Graceland. He has decided it is time to write his memoirs
and intends to call the book 'Through My Eyes'. He reflects
on his life, from humble beginnings in Tupelo, Mississippi,
through his rise to stardom and how he became the man the
world called 'The King.' The story imagines Elvis as he reminisces
recalls anecdotes and touches the truth in his own words about
the man, the myths and the music. As we walk with Elvis on
his nostalgic journey we glimpse the man behind the King while
commemorating his life and career. "The Memphis Lullaby" tells
the story of Elvis Presley's life in his own words. To order
