'Summer Festival 1970: The Rehearsals' New MRS set Preview Copy: MRS have announced a 3CD Deluxe set titled ‘SUMMER FESTIVAL 1970 – THE REHEARSALS’ to be released on 12th March 2021, but PREVIEW copies have already sneaked out!

The CDs contain rehearsal highlights from one of the most memorable periods in Elvis’ career - his captivating performances at The International Hotel Las Vegas in the summer of 1970. These truly historical recordings, remastered and restored capture the raw and early development of songs that were performed weeks later in Las Vegas. The accompanying 40-page booklet includes rare photographs taken at some of these rehearsal sessions.

As usual MRS has spared no expense in our remastering techniques. For the first time ever all, the tracks listed have had repairs and restorations having now the same mastering techniques, used on such recent MRS releases such as ‘Made in Germany’ and ‘Such a Night in Pearl Harbor’. A sample sound of this will circulate on forums within days of this announcement.

The 180g 3LP Gatefold version will be announced soon.

Please note: This is a prequel to a series of releases coming out this year from MRS. In that series will be a totally new and unreleased soundboard from the Summer Festival in 1970. A recording never heard before, stay tuned. -- Go here to 'All The CD News 2021' for full details and tracklists

‘Don't Cry Daddy’ New Import CD: Elvis live at the International Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. This cd contains 29 tracks - great audience recordings from February 1970, including the February 21, midnight show. Other recordings are 'See See Rider' from the Feb 5, dinner show, 'Suspicious Minds' with reprise from the Feb 20, midnight show, the one-liner 'When The Swallows Come Back To Capistrano' from the February 21, dinner show, + more great recordings!
The February 21, midnight show was first released on the album 'Let It Be Me' released in 2006, but now you can hear this show in a better sound. The show is really good with a very good setlist with a dynamic version of 'Long Tall Sally' and great renditions of 'Don't Cry Daddy', 'Walk A Mile In My Shoes' and other songs. Feel like you were in the audience to see the greatest singer of all time... Elvis on stage during his early Las Vegas shows was full of energy and at his best vocally and physically. As Robert Hilburn noted in his LA Times review of Presley’s 1970 winter season in Las Vegas, “Elvis … has done what once seemed impossible. He has become king on his own terms.”
Limited edition release with an 8 pages booklet with photos and more information about these recordings.

'Polk Salad Annie' Import CD: Elvis sings 'Polk Salad Annie' contains 18 recordings from February and August 1970, all recorded at the International Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Including rehearsals and live recordings, like a soundboard recording from 'Polk Salad Annie' from the Feb 16, 1970 midnight show, five soundboard recordings from the Feb 19, 1970 dinner show and rehearsal recordings from August 4, 7 and 10, 1970. Almost all these recordings are official previously unreleased and some are hard to find nowadays. The rehearsal versions of 'Polk Salad Annie' from August 10, 1970 were edited and spliced for official release to just one version taken out explicit lyrics and 'I've Lost You' from this same rehearsal was only available on the album 'Hang Loose' from 1991 (30 years ago)... And a real big bonus is that all these recordings are presented here in the best possible sound... better than ever before... even the audience recordings on this album are a delight for your ears and never sounded better, like great live versions of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'Crying Time', 'When The Snow Is On The Roses' and 'Sweet Inspiration'. 'Return To The Queen City of The South' New Import: In 2010 Audionics label released fantastic double CD called "Springtime Tours '76 - '77." We have presented a bulk of the Johnson City, TN, March 17th, 1976 tour opening show in the straight stereo mix and Charlotte, March 20th, 1976 evening show in the pure binaural sound as well as the selection of various 1977 stereo live recordings. Now, we believe, the right time has come for the ultimate upgrade of March 1976 material combined with two Charlotte shows from 1977!
It is not widely known that in 1977, Felton Jarvis planned a release of the great version of "America The Beautiful" and some other tracks from Charlotte 1976 show on a country flavored studio / live compilation album "Welcome To My World." Unfortunately, it did not materialize. Nevertheless, we have obtained his original old stereo mix and restored it for our release!
For the February 20th, 1977 a different source than FTD has been used. February 21st, 1977 was newly mastered from same tape source as the1995 Fort Baxter CD release "Moody Blue and Other Great Performances."
As a bonus, you will find a selection of pre-show tracks performed by J. D. Sumner and The Stamps and The Sweet Inspirations in 1976 / 77. Yet another addition presented reveals a part of the Johnson City, March 17, 1977 show in previously unreleased authentic pure binaural sound (as it was recorded) with James Burton's lead guitar isolated in right channel. Back then we mixed this show into the stereo image. We have added a set of various tracks taped in February - June 1977, as well. All bonus tracks have been freshly restored and mastered from the scratch and there are unique mixes of songs like "Steamroller Blues" from Austin, March 28 or "Unchained Melody" from Rapid City, June 21, 1977. You need to indulge the tones to judge for yourself!
This CD is presented in 3CD digipack with a great collection of high quality concert recordings from Elvis' performances in Charlotte, NC, March 20th, 1976 & February 20th & 21st, 1977 8:30pm evening shows.
EIN Note: As mentioned FTD released Charlotte Feb 20th and other highlights on their CD 'Unchained Melody' - As we noted at the time, "In 1977 Elvis was running on low, his concerts were often perfunctory at best, early 1977 saw Elvis going downhill fast and putting on the weight that he had recently lost."
CD 1 - Charlotte, NC, March 20th, 1976 E/S:

King Creole 'True Stereo' VINYL released: The CMT import-label release of the LP 'King Creole' featuring the soundtrack album in stereo with additional bonus tracks.
This re-issue comes on yellow colored vinyl and is out now.
Side 1: King Creole / Crawfish / As Long As I Have You / Headed Woman / Trouble / Dixieland Rock / Don’t Ask Me Why / Lover Doll / Young Dreams / Steadfast, Loyal And True / New Orleans.
Side 2:  Berries, Gumbo - Crawfish (Film Version) / Lover Doll  (undubbed) / Dixieland Rock (Film Version) / As Long As I Have You (Take 4) / Steadfast, Loyal And True (Slow Version) / Turtles, Berries, Gumbo (Master) / Muskat Ramble / Main Title / Radio Spot.
EIN Note: "True Stereo" it is not, since it is created using the digital audio process, Digitally Extracted Stereo.
Unfortunately this works better with simpler arrangements and not with orchestral backings.
As EIN noted last year about in our review of Elvis Reborn Mono > Stereo "EIN really wanted the final track, the sensational ‘Trouble’ to reveal something new to me but sadly while Elvis is dead-centre the backing sounds all-over-the-place and not like a stereo recording."

You can read a neat review of the CMT King Creole album here by our friends at Elvis DayByDay

‘Elvis - Oh, Happy Day’ New Import CD: Paradise Road Records presents ‘Oh, Happy Day’ - Elvis live at the International hotel in Las Vegas. This cd contains a great audience recording from the August 14, 1970 Midnight Show PLUS camera sound recordings from this show (from the MGM tapes).
Elvis is singing great songs like 'Oh, Happy Day', 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'Folsom Prison Blues' and 'I Walk The Line' .. A very remarkable show. Elvis was in a really goofy mood and introduced himself as Johnny Cash. He seemed to be really enjoying this show, despite the cameras and the house lights being up so MGM could film him. He changed the words to the several songs and really had fun messing them up.
This show was first released on 'The Man In White - Volume 3' released in 2003. Now -18 year later- all performances have been newly remastered and speed corrected where necessary. And for the first time on cd the camera sound recordings of this show. Including a booklet with information and photos from this great show! PLUS some background information about these recordings.

‘Houston Astrodome Sunday March 03, 1974’ VINYL: A Special Deluxe Combo LP / CD from the "VV" label for the first time in vinyl, of the show of Houston 3th of March 1974 and including the unreleased AUDIENCE recording Tulsa OK, Oral Roberts University March 2, 1974, included as a bonus.
As always the VV attitude is to present Elvis at the peak of his possibility and without a doubt, this double set presents Elvis still at his best. After shedding some extra weight the man is ready to face his first tour of 1974. March 1974 started with two great shows in Tulsa and then departed to Houston for two shows in the Astrodome where Elvis beat his own audience record from 1970. The Houston show it’s a usual one where Elvis faces a large distant adoring crowd without the orchestra.
Here is presented completely remastered for the first time in heavy glorious vinyl.
At the same time, we are glad to include as a bonus CD an unreleased Ambiance Recording of the previous day in Tulsa. The sound is decent: if you want to live the atmosphere of an Elvis concert in 2021 this is the right tape. We can guarantee that Elvis was greeted with incredible enthusiasm; the popularity in the live scene in the middle of 1974 is at its maximum level.
The tour presents Elvis still at the top of his possibility, despite He is not anymore the rocker of 1970. He still looks great in his impressive jumpsuits and he delivers great shows with a great version of his classic hits adding to the repertoire the religious new Help me and reaching the top of the classic anthem American Trilogy and the sacred How Great Thou Art.

'Bruce Jackson, On The Road With Elvis' OUT NOW: Gary Jackson’s 2018 book on his brother’s adventures on the road as Elvis’ sound engineer between 1971 and 1977, complete with three new cds.
CD 1: An audio documentary on Elvis in 1976 hosted by Jack Mullins.
CD 2: Previously unreleased soundboard of Elvis’ concert in Sioux Falls, October 18th 1976.
CD 3: Previously unreleased soundboard of Elvis’ concert in Atlanta, December 30th 1976.
OUT NOW - It is a strictly limited release so if you want it you need to chase Elvis dealers now.
EIN Notes: Wow, EIN thought the FTD deluxe 'TTWII' 600-page book with 8

1970 rehearsal cds was expensive at £180 but this set at £111 (US$240) for a 200-page book (not totally on Elvis) plus two 1976 soundboard concerts (with audio doco) seems ludicrous. Atlanta December 1976 features a very poor piano-heavy audio mix. Hopefully FTD see reason and release the soundboards as a CD- double-pack after this limited edition sells-out - See FTD NEWS for tracklist and more details

'Elvis Rocks The Garden' New Import: From the Straight Arrow label.. in 2012 we released the great June 9th Madison Square Garden NYC concert (CD "Left a Good Job in The City". This, now classic, is totally sold out for many years. Now we have restored this recording again from scratch. In 2020 we obtained two quality tapes of other NYC concerts from June 10th Evening and June 11th, Afternoon.
Now all three shows are released in one deluxe 3CD set.
We are fully aware that the June 10th Evening show was released several times officially by RCA from the professional multi-track tapes. Nevertheless, we have found an alternative source - an excellent audience-recorded tape! It brings you a whole new listening experience! The incredible audience reaction to every song will blow you away! The June 11th Afternoon show was released in 2010 from an inferior source. Once again, we have found an excellent audience-provided alternative.
Both the June 10th E/S and 11th A/S were recorded by the same person, using a reel-to-reel tape deck instead of usual the cassette recorder.
Presented in the usual top notch digipack

Peloton Exclusive Elvis remixes: Peloton (Bicycles / Workout company) is the only place anyone can hear a trio of classic Elvis Presley songs remixed by DJ Dillon Francis, Big Boi and Chromeo, at least for now. T
The songs, Do The Vega, Catchin’ On Fast, and Clean Up Your Own Backyard, will play out as part of Peloton’s Artist Series of themed workouts.
The remixes are owned by Sony and will be an exclusive on Peloton for an initial launch window.
Elvis fans who don’t have a Peloton subscription needn’t worry as the company is offering a two-month free trial of the Peloton app, which offers classes for strength, stretching, meditation, yoga and everything else.
Peloton has, for a while now, had the Artist Series workouts in which an entire class is backed up with music from a single artist. The most notable name on the list is Beyoncé but you can also enjoy a ride backed by Alicia Keys, Britney Spears and Lizzo.
Peloton teased an Elvis-themed artist series on December 13th, encouraging people to “move to the sounds” of the King. After the initial launch it is possible that Sony might release all three remixes commercially thereafter.

‘From Elvis in Nashville’ Box-set EIN In-Depth Review: A 4CD collection presenting the definitive chronicle of Elvis' 1970 marathon sessions with the "Nashville Cats".
Recorded live in RCA's Studio B over the course of an epic five day run in June 1970 now, for the first time, the sessions are presented in pristine audio, newly mixed by acclaimed engineer Matt Ross-Spang without the added overdubs appearing on earlier releases.
Elvis’ 1970 Nashville session was very different from the previous Memphis sessions or even Elvis’ later sessions. Nashville was a real mix of Elvis recording RCA supplied demos along with one-take spontaneous favourites Elvis threw into the mix.
As Elvis noted, "It don't take much to get these guys going, boy, I'll tell you…. Just give them a "well..." and they're gone. That's what I call 'Sittin' on ready".
EIN's Piers Beagley explores this new box-set to discover one of the best Elvis releases in years..

'Elvis As Recorded Live In Huntsville '75' New Import: A new cd release from the REVISITED label with Elvis live at Von Braun Civic Center. Saturday May 31, 1975 (8:30 PM). Huntsville, AL.
A great soundboard recording released only once before on a single disc many years ago on "Across The Country Vol 2". A show with great songs like "Hawaiian Wedding Song" and "I'm Leavin'".
The beginning of the evening show was not recorded but as a bonus we've included recordings from the matinee show one day later (Sunday. June 1, 1975. Huntsville, AL.), including "How Great Thou Art" and a medley of early hits.
Elvis was truly inspired by the superb reaction he received in Huntsville, selling out five shows. These are recordings from show number 3 and 4 in very good sound quality.
Note that FTD released the afternoon show of the same day May 31, 1975  on 'Dixieland Delight'
This is a limited edition SOUNDBOARD release to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of this great event! Including a booklet with photos and information about these shows.

'From Elvis In Nashville' OUT NOW: Great news as Elvis' 2020 major release 'From Elvis In Nashville' is out now, even delivered by the Australian postman at 9am this morning. (Despite rumours the release would be delayed in Australia).
And it is an absolute gem, capturing Elvis creating some truly magnificent Nashville magic. While these Marathon Sessions have often been compared unfavourably with the life-changing 1969 Memphis Sessions Elvis and his core musicians work truly hard as the camarderie between them inspire some of Elvis' best work of the 70s.
The shame is that the core soul of the original recordings of Elvis and the Nashville Cats would often be hidden by the later orchestral overdubs or clean ups.
As the publicity says, "these sessions are presented in pristine audio, newly mixed by acclaimed engineer Matt Ross-Spang without the added overdubs of earlier releases - in other words how Elvis would sound if you were in the room with him" and it is right.
There are delights to discover in the previously unreleased Undubbed Masters such as I've Lost You, The Sound Of Your Cry, The Fool,  It's Your Baby You Rock It, Stranger In The Crowd, Mary In The Morning, Just Pretend, even Bridge Over Troubled Water never before officially released as Undubbed but with harmony vocal.
While others such as I Really Don't Want To Know,The Next Step Is Love, Funny How Time Slips Away, I Washed My Hands In Muddy Water, even Only Believe have a new "fuller" more soulful feel courtesy of the Matt Ross-Spang new audio mixes.
The 28 booklet is packed full of information plus two detailed articles, four pages by Ernst Jorgensen on the session themselves plus an interesting 7-page essay by Nashville author David Cantwell explaining how the musicians all came together to create such important music.
Ernst writes, "What Elvis called "sitting ready" essentially meant that he expected the musicians share his inspired moments and instantly fall in with whatever he began singing.... Spontaneity was key, and to Elvis, it was always about the feel, and not about perfection."
A core thread is that it was the RCA Range & Hill supplied material that let the overall quality drop and plenty of those tracks never even get mentioned in Ernst's session essay.
Like the STAX 2013 deluxe SONY release and 'Way Down In The Jungle Room' once again it is Elvis' pure recordings that prove he was still a force to be reckoned with after the musical renaissance of the 1969 Chips Moman Sessions.
This is a MUST BUY for any Elvis Fan.

'Night of the Dragon' New Import CD: Straight Arrow is pleased to bring you a new double CD dedicated to Elvis' Summer Las Vegas '74 season, the Wednesday, August 28th 1974 Dinner & Midnight shows. The 1974 summer season was always rated as controversial due to Elvis in-between-songs comments in several shows. Nevertheless, musically, all shows were very good. Straight Arrow has released only 2 shows so far: "Karate Fever" CD (August 31st, 1974 D/S in 2010) and "Stormy Weather Ahead" 2CD (September 2nd, 1974 D/S in 2017).
These August 28th recordings are directly from recently discovered first generation copies of the original audience-recorded mastertapes, never before in circulation! These fascinating, previously unreleased concerts were never before available in such an excellent sound quality!
Both play lists included several songs unique to this season: "It's Midnight", "Big Boss Man" and funky "If You Talk in Your Sleep," the latter with a karate demo midway. His song selection demonstrated his expertise in a great variety of musical genres: the sexy styling of "Fever," the poignancy of "I'm Leavin'," and the feel-good of two Olivia
Newton John songs "If You Love Me (Let Me Know)" and "Let Me Be There." Most of all, perhaps, Elvis touched first base musically with the stirring performances of "How Great Thou Art." Worth to mention is the rare inclusion of "My Boy" which was presented only once in 1974 (by request).
As usual, this release is presented in a deluxe 4-panel double digipack with a collection of images taken on stage during Elvis' Summer Las Vegas '74 season.
The Straight Arrow team is always looking for new, unreleased audience-taped shows and for the improved versions of previously released recordings. If you have such tapes, even damaged or broken, do not hesitate to contact us through your local vendor.

'Ol’ Swivel Hips Still Wovs’ Em' New Import Box-set: This 1977 deluxe box set 'Ol’ Swivel Hips Still Wovs’ Em' (EIN comments what the hell does "wovs them" mean, presumably "Wows them" is what they meant) is focused on the third tour of 1977 April-May 1977. Elvis’ live performances in 1977 are often criticized and not without a reason. But Elvis was still offering his fans an enjoying time, the magic of seeing Elvis in person probably exceeded the fact he often delivered a standard and sometimes even mediocre performance. The reactions of the spectators are very telling. They scream, shout and get wild for their hero. While listening to the recordings of these shows you cannot draw any other conclusion than that the shows were below par. But the charisma of Elvis was enormous, which probably made this unnoticed by most of the fans present. This set mostly contains soundboard & multitrack recordings but also contains two rare audience recordings. These high quality audience recordings of the April 27 & 30 performances deserve a place in this box set.
Both being first class audience recordings and remastered from scratch to achieve an optimal listening experience.
This 6 cd set includes a wonderful booklet with many rare and unpublished photo’s.
EIN Notes: Nothing here not released previously - and two cds are 1977 Audience Recordings.
From previous bootlegs 'Shaking Up the Great Lakes' to 'Trouble In Saginaw' surely we all have this before.
Reviews of Toledo April 23 included..."Several couples sitting near me left early, evidently disappointed that their memories had held up better than Elvis himself.
But even 42 isn't too old to remember lyrics (he fluffed some on It's Now Or Never).
True, one can't fault the scarcity of his leg shimmies, only their lack of sincerity.
The only standing ovation he got was when he quit singing."

Really, is this what collectors are begging for?

'GET BACK: The Fantasy Series Volume 2' DVD: From the STAR label, Imagine you could "Get Back in time" .....
The follow up to the 1976 DVD 'And I Love You So'.
This time they chose footage from 71/72. Elvis is in great shape, not only his amazing voice but the moves and spirit he brings on stage, unfortunately was probably the last time fans got to witness this.
Lots and lots of rare footage has been combined to make an incredible one hour show with 23(!!) complete performances.
More close ups and better quality then the first volume.
Just listen to an outstanding version of "What Now My Love" which is probably better than the later released "Aloha" version since it has more "feel" to it.
Just enjoy how great he looks during the title track "Little Sister/Get Back" .... does it get any better than this folks?
Just watch his moves during "Suspicious Minds"
Just catch his "Hound Dog's" he is throwing in the crowd.
Just be amazed when he takes of his jacket for an outstanding "Lovin' Feelin'"
The energy he puts in every song, makes this one of the best releases of the last years.
Also included are some rare "72 rehearsals from the "On Tour" files.

'To Good To be True' New Import CD: New from STAR 'To Good To be True' - Live Chronicles volume 3' - 2 disc set
After his '69 comeback on stage Elvis wanted more. In 1970 there were two more seasons in Vegas, both were partly recorded for a live release.
(On Stage and That's The Way It Is)
Lots and lots of songs were tried out, some stayed in the show, some were only song once.
The title of this new CMT album lives up to their name, since it has an amazing collection of live songs, presented on 2 discs, one for the February Season, and one for the August Season.
Like the previous releases in this series, the edits make it sound like it is one great live show... which would be... "Too Good To Be True"
Good To Be True"
EIN Note: Features a fabulous set-list - with plenty from the August 12 Midnight Show - but nothing too unexpected.

'Roustabout At The Fair' New Spliced CD: Another nice "spliced" album with lots of surprises, this time the producers choose to use both Roustabout and It Happened At The World's Fair.
Combined you get a new fresh album which sounds like it's brand new mainly due to the clever edits which also brings extended and very different sounding versions of master tracks.
Just listen to the incredible version of "Roustabout" with a running time of 5.01 minutes, including 8 different takes to make a very nice new track.
"It's A Wonderful World" has a longer intro and sounds very different due to the different mix, and also "Big Love Big Heartache' sounds very different although there was only one take to work with.
Fans of the series will know what to expect and will again not be disappointed by this nice release.
The artwork also "combines" the two movies in a clever way.

‘TTWII 50th Anniversary Collectors Edition’ FTD Book Review: FTD's most expensive set ever published, David English and Pal Granlund bring the complete background story of 'Elvis: That's The Way It Is'. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the movie's 1970 release, this ultimate collector's edition includes two hardback books, eight cds with over 450 minutes of music, including newly discovered unreleased performances.
With access to 2,000 original negatives and 35mm slides, restored and repaired, many of which have never been seen before, the book also contains items from the MGM and RCA archives including paperwork, documents, memos and recording information.
Two books, 600 pages, plus all the MGM recorded rehearsals - including 70 tracks officially unreleased.
FTD's most expensive set but with the vast majority of the rehearsals already out on bootleg, can it really be worth the US$270 plus postage. Initially Sold Out and already into its first reprint what makes it so desirable?
EIN's Piers Beagley investigates and discovers plenty .. Go here to our 6000 word review including plenty of extracts and stunning images.

'Funny How Time Slips Away', Official Lyric Video: Another promo video for the new 'From Elvis In Nashville' album, the sublime "Funny How Time Slips Away".
This time helping to emphasise Elvis' lyrical interpretation,
Recorded in one single take, Elvis puts his soul into this perfect bluesy rendition of the Willie Nelson classic. Matt Ross-Spang's new remaster adds even more emotion with Charlie McCoy's organ neatly counterpointing James Burton's fine guitar playing.
If this is representative of Matt Ross-Spang's new remastering then this set is going to be a true stunner.

'Good Times In Vegas' New Import: From the Touchdown label, their new release 'Good Times In Vegas' which contains the previously AUDIENCE Recording of Elvis' midnight show August 9, 1972 but supposedly with improved audio .
The new release of the Las Vegas concert does sound excellent for this kind of recording.
Elvis delighted his audience with a strong setlist and lots of highlights.
As usual the release is accompanied with a 16 page booklet and lots of rare photos and seldom seen memorabilia.

EIN Note: This show was previously released as 'Elvis Still Has It' on the SR label back in 2015 and while Elvis was on good form, the recording was fairly muffled.

Tracklist: 1) Also Sprach Zarathustra, 2) See See Rider, 3) Proud Mary, 4) Until Its Time For You To Go, '5) You Dont Have To Say You Love Me, 6) Youve Lost That Loving Feeling, 7) Polk Salad Annie, 8) Elvis Talks With The Audience , 9) What Now My Love,,10) Fever, 11) Love Me, 12) Blue Suede Shoes, 13) One Night, 14) Little Sister-Get Back, 15) Heartbreak Hotel, 16) Hound Dog, 17) Elvis Talks With The Audience, 18) For The Good Times, 19) Suspicious Minds, 20) Band Introductions, 21) My Way, 22) A Big Hunk Of Love, 23) An American Trilogy, 24) Can’t Help Falling In Love, 25) Closing Vamp

'Christmas & Gospel Greats' New PD release: From the 'Not Now Music' label a double-CD 'Public Domain' 24-track release combining DISC 1 - Elvis' Christmas Album, DISC 2 - His Hand In Mine.
The publicity notes.. So entrenched was the public perception of Elvis as a hell-raiser, that the announcement he was making a record of Christmas songs sent the world into a tailspin. Released in 1957 Elvis’ Christmas Album, showed that Elvis had created a template for all future Christmas recordings: no rock star had ever undertaken such a project and it was Elvis who paved the way…
Over the years, Elvis would always warm-up in recording studios and before live performances, by singing his favourite Gospel songs. But it was not until 1960, with the release of the LP His Hand In Mine, that the wider world understood the full extent of their rock & roll idol’s fondness for inspirational music.
Enjoy this superb 2CD set including "Santa Claus Is Back In Town", "If We Never Meet Again", "Blue Christmas" and many more...

EIN Note: It's a cute front cover of Elvis in his Jailhouse Rock jumper coloured red and in the snow!
