'Memories That Linger In My Heart' New Import: From 'Panther Records' an AUDIENCE recording of Elvis' 10 December 1975 Las Vegas show.
The publicity notes... When Elvis played Vegas in August of this year, it was a short-lived engagement as the “King” gave up after just 5 appearances because of pure exhaustion. Fans who eagerly awaited his iconic presence were disappointed, yet hope remained alive that Elvis would be back soon. And the contract had to be fulfilled anyway, so the Colonel and the Hilton management decided to bring Elvis back in December of the same year.
To make it short: The whole engagement in December of 1975 was nothing less than a rescheduled triumph! What you will hear on our new 2-CD set is (for the first time) the COMPLETE show of December 10 (there was only 1 show that day, at 10.00 PM). On previous releases of this concert the producers were not willing to invest in a second CD so they simply cut out some dialogue – which is a shame of course.
There are many highlights in the very good sounding audience recording of this evening. A more loose show with Elvis seemingly having a good time interacting with the audience. Plus the one or the other surprise, such as Elvis obviously playing a prank on people at the beginning of the show by going from “See See Rider” into “Can't Help Falling In Love” (including the so-called “Closing Vamp”!!) – as if the show would already be over after just 2 songs! And then, when you could have expected that he would go straight into “I Got A Woman” after the usual “Wells” he presented another surprise: A spontaneous, nice version of “When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again”.  (EIN Note - runs only 45 seconds) A hilarious moment indeed! The song “Just Pretend”, a musical pearl from 1970 was brought back this season as a regular in the setlist after not having been performed since November 72 in Hawaii. A seemingly spontaneous request shortly before the end of the show, the “dramatic” tune “My Way” became a duet between Sherill Nielsen and Elvis because Elvis did not remember the lyrics and made Sherill sing for him in certain parts. And regarding the quality of our new CD: Needless to say that the recording of this show is newly remastered and speed-corrected.
EIN Note: An 'ok'  audience recording  but with some noisy fans interrupting / squealing nearby.

'Elvis: The Last Concert' In-depth FTD Review: This recent 3-CD 5” digipak features the first official release of Elvis' final live performance in Indianapolis on June 26,1977.
With priority given to historical content, this audience recording has been digitally enhanced by Anthony Stuchbury to improve its many sonic deficiencies.
Elvis' final performance reminds us what a glorious musical legacy he left for us all and also that even in his final months Elvis truly cared for his fans and had a strength and aura that could never be matched. With the surprise additions of 'Release Me', 'I Can’t Stop Loving You' and 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' Elvis gave it his all.
At the end with Elvis sincerely thanking all his crew, family and friends and a rousing last version of ‘Can't Help Falling In Love’ it's hard to believe he would never get back on stage.
Two additional concerts augment this 3-CD set; Oct 18, 1976 Sioux Falls and Dec 30, 1976 Atlanta. These were previously released with the 'On The Road With Elvis' Bruce Jackson book.
EIN's Piers Beagley provides an in-depth review of FTD official release of Elvis' final concert as a 3cd set.

'Rock N' Roll Hero' New PD release: A truly bad looking "public domain" release, no doubt compiled from the usual dodgy soundboards. And it's NOT Elvis on the cover!
From Blue-Line Records on CD and vinyl their publicity notes...
...Experience the sheer vocal power of Elvis Presley in his most soulful years. This LP is a journey through the mid-70s, showcasing a mature artist who still commanded every stage he stepped on. From the finger-snapping coolness of "Fever" to the iconic nostalgia of the "Teddy Bear / Don't Be Cruel" medley, this record covers the full spectrum of Elvis's talent. A standout is the gritty "Steamroller Blues", where the King proves why he reigned supreme over the blues-rock genre. These years (1974-1976) are beloved by fans for their emotional depth and grand arrangements (EIN: 1976, really?). Whether you are a lifelong member of the TCB crowd or a new collector, this vinyl offers a rich, warm sound that digital can't replicate.
EIN NOTE: Hilariously they state that the sound is something that "can't be replicated" yet they can't even put a real photo of Elvis on the front cover! - Real fans should avoid at all costs

EIN wasted our cash buying a similar Public Domain 'Greatest Hits Live' release - see review here

Sunday 21 June 2026
Apart from audience recordings there seems to be nothing new in the Elvis bootleg world. Below are several bootleg Re-Releases that you should find at your local Elvis dealer - if you missed them first time around.

'Dane County Coliseum, Madison June 24, 1977' New Import: Another reissue of this unique concert from June 24, 1977. It is the very last known soundboard recording of Elvis. During this show, Jerome 'Stump' Monroe is behind the drums.
The most notable song of the evening is 'One Night'; in addition, Elvis sings 'If You Love Me (Let Me Know)', 'Jailhouse Rock', 'I Really Don't Want To Know', and others.

If you don't have this show on CD yet, this reissue is a great opportunity. You’ll hear this release as original recorded.
So no fake-stereo effects. Comes with new artwork featuring photos and recording information.

EIN Note: Previously released on bootlegs such as 'Stumpin Madison' and 'The Final Curtain' set.
Probably the only 'soundboard' recording that exists from Elvis' final tour but it was a very poor show.
Elvis left out all of his showpiece songs, no ‘My Way’, ‘Hurt’, ‘How Great Thou Art’ not even an ‘Unchained Melody’ - it could be called "Mumblin’ in Madison". Poor Elvis.

'Elvis: The Jan/Feb 1971 Soundboard Recordings' New Import 4cd set: From a no name label,  'Elvis: The Jan / Feb 1971 Soundboard Recordings - 4cd Collectors Edition.

The publicity includes... We have brought together our 4 previous releases into a set released as a limited edition with various extras!

The CDs feature the soundboard recordings from January/February 1971 as originally recorded, plus some bonus recordings. Not all recordings from Opening Night (January 26) were released by the FTD label like ‘Love Me Tender’, ‘The Wonder of You’, ‘Make The World Go Away’ and others, + the recordings from Closing Night (February 23) were not available through the label.
However, they can be heard on this set, making it a nice addition to the FTD label.

We prefer the original sound, so we have not applied any fake stereo effects.
Together with the extras such as replica postcards, etc., this has become a fine set for collectors and fans.

EIN Note: FTD released a lot of this material and the MRS label released these shows in very good 'DES' stereo on 'Elvis – NOW 1971'  - Check your collections before re-purchasing.

A nice addition to the original Elvis Inside cd.

EIN Note: Includes some oddities such as... Am I Ready (Take 5 & 6),  Home Sweet Home (Gladys Presley Home Recording), When The Saints Go Marching In (Home Recording),  Sherill Nielsen - Danny Boy, Sherill Nielsen - Walk With Me, the 1981 The Original Elvis Presley Medley, and Viva Las Vegas (Acetate, Movie Version)

The publicity notes...
... Recorded directly from the showroom, these two powerful ambient recordings have been completely remastered for the first time to bring fans the clearest and most vibrant sound possible from these two historic concerts.

'About To Roll All Over Vegas' New Import:From a new import record label “Panther Records” Elvis' August 28, 1973 Midnight show - a Soundbooth AUDIENCE recording.
Their publicity notes... When Elvis played Vegas in August of 1973, one could think the man was already bored and gave a lot of “throwaway” concerts. Well, he didn't. At least not on August 28, 1973 Midnight Show.
This is only the second release of this show on CD - 34 years after its first outcome in 1992. Since then a much better source has been found (Soundbooth Recording!) and therefore you can expect a significantly better sound and finally speed-corrected!
This new CD brings you a sound quality you will be satisfied with.
It is close to the ideal art of audience recording, many fans prefer against dry and lifeless soundboard recordings.
Enjoy this show with its loose nature, as Elvis is trying out “My Boy” before he would ultimately record it in the studio in December of ´73. For whatever reason he was having a hard time pulling himself together for this version resulting in a hilarious segment including an impromptu version of the old gospel tune “What A Friend We Have In Jesus”, which he knew from his childhood
days in Tupelo, where he sang it together with his parents and the entire community at every church service.
EIN Note: Previously released as an audience bootleg as 'Take These Chains From My Heart'
FTD has released Elvis' August 20 Midnight Show from a soundbooth recording on 'Las Vegas Hilton 1973'

'The Paradise, Hawaiian Style Sessions' New FTD set: As part of its successful ‘sessions’ series, FTD is pleased to announce the release of 'The Paradise, Hawaiian Style Sessions', the 60th anniversary edition!
Newly mixed and mastered by Sebastian Jeansson and Vic Anesini, the masters and outtakes, featured over 3-cds, now offer superior audio to the original 1966 soundtrack album.

'Loving You' JAS CD Review: Anthony Stuchbury's 'Loving You' is a 26-track Super-Deluxe-Jewel-Case, a lovely new edition for Elvis collectors. Whether you prefer the warm authenticity of mono or the rich depth of stereo, this release delivers outstanding sound quality in both formats.
Loving You also marks an exciting new offering from the brand-new JAS label.
Includes 3 alternate masters 'Mean Woman Blues - Movie Edit', 'Party - Alternate Master' & 'Got A Lot O' Livin' To Do - Alternate Master' plus Special Bonus Songs 'Loving You - Opening Titles', 'Movie Road Medley', 'Party - Alternate Master' & 'Loving You - Orchestral Version'.
With the album presented in 'True Stereo’ and with the musicians separated you can get even more enjoyment listening closely to how the band, and engineer Thorne Nogar, put the sound together.
It's a chance to rediscover the joys of youth, as well as the some remarkable song choices from the supposedly dangerous king of Rock’n’Roll.

'EPiC Original Soundtrack' CD Review:  RCA's 'EPiC Original Motion Picture Soundtrack' was released on digital and CD back in February and on 2-LP vinyl last weekend.
Executive produced by Baz Luhrmann, the soundtrack features 27 tracks from the 'EPiC' documentary combining newly restored live performances with fresh remixes and medleys created from Elvis’ original recordings.
It is a packed 74 minutes of pure Elvis delight and this original soundtrack genuinely does follow the story-line and arc of the movie and also includes some full-length versions of Elvis’ on-stage performances that were edited for the actual film.
If the movie took you on an emotional journey then this CD is a lovely keepsake of the same trip. It truly captures the glory and power and emotion of Elvis' legacy.
The movie jumps from one performance to another with multiple edits - how does this work as a standalone CD?
There CD includes a lengthy and detailed track-list but unfortunately never notes which shows Elvis’ performances were actually taken from. - This review will hopefully reveal all.
Check out our 4000-word in-depth review by Piers Beagley.

'Elvis Way Down in Louisiana' New Import CD: From the 'Knock Out' label their debut Matrix Recording from the Lake Charles May 4, 1975 Afternoon Show! - The publicity notes...
You’ve heard the soundboard before, flat, piano-heavy, kinda square. Well, we flipped the script! By blending a high-quality audience tape with that original soundboard, we’ve cooked up a rich, vibrant, full-bodied sound that brings every instrument to life.
It’s balanced, it’s punchy, the way this show was meant to be heard!
And yeah… we kept it real: the first four tracks roll exactly as captured by the AUDIENCE RECORDING, raw and authentic, because the soundboard missed ‘em entirely.
Packaged in another stunning digipack, loaded with killer shots from the April/ May ‘75 tour, this release is for fans who crave something special.
EIN Note: A fine show previously released on the Madison bootleg 'Cajun Tornado'
Elvis' show two days later was released by FTD on 'Dixieland Rocks'

'Free Bird' 2-LP vinyl' Import: Coming soon from VV Records 'Free Bird' the complete concert of the December 14, 1975 cocktail show.
(EIN Note- exactly the same show as 'Elvis Sweet, Sweet Spirit in Las Vegas' above!)
The double vinyl soundboard recording from the Las Vegas Dec 14 show for the first time on vinyl format, and it has been remastered from the source, which will present an incredibly superior sound. The double set will be housed in a glossy gatefold.
At the same time, the bonus 7” vinyl EP presents a highlight selection recorded on December 13, 1975 MS; in this way, this product will cover two consecutive days with an excellent soundboard sound and more than 100 minutes of magic music.
Despite not being in perfect shape, he proved the 1975 rockin’ Attitude was still intact, although his movements on stage were very limited. He gives life to intense and long sets with a good variety of songs.
December 1975: Elvis was booked for two weeks as compensation for the cancellation of the August season. Elvis worked hard preparing for the season and introducing a “new” song: America the Beautiful. An homage to America’s big jubilee in 1976.
At the same time, he represents one of the strongest songs from the June 1970 sessions: Just Pretend. Keeping in mind the rocking attitude, Burning Love is always present in his repertoire, as is the classic Polk Salad Annie.
Housed in a deluxe 300-gram sleeve that includes the double 150-gram vinyl plus a Bonus 7” vinyl EP with a personal sleeve too.
To have a special collector’s item, the 360 copies will be presented with three different vinyl color VARIATIONS.

Newly remastered for optimal sound quality, the CD offers restored artwork and carefully selected studio session material that immerses the listener in the spirit of the original project.
Limited Editions, only 1,500 copies available worldwide, making them highly desirable for fans and collectors alike.

‘Heading Down To Sunset Boulevard’ CD Review: Released by RCA / SONY on their “Sunset Boulevard” set but in poor quality and at the wrong speed, the Reel-Trax label corrected this with a neat 2-CD set released late last year. - Now also released on vinyl.
.. Elvis' August 16, 1974 RCA studio rehearsal, presented here has been carefully and newly mixed. Using the latest state-of-the-art studio technology, we have worked to create a much more balanced recording that does justice to both the musicianship and Elvis’ performance. Each song has been carefully mixed for the best presentation.
The rehearsal has also been speed-corrected, as earlier releases ran far too slow.
Being a double-CD we have also added performance highlights from Elvis' “Summer Festival” 1974 engagement.

EIN's Piers Beagley checks out whether this new import set really improves on the official RCA release - (actually yes!)

'The Final Show In Lake Tahoe May 9th 1976' Import CD / Vinyl; New from ReelTrax label, just in time for the 50th anniversary of Elvis Presley's very last Lake Tahoe concert - Mother's Day 1976 an audience recording on black vinyl and 3-color transparent vinyl!
Also available as a deluxe 3-panel, 2-CD set!
The publicity includes...
.. The Final Show In Lake Tahoe is a beautiful deluxe 3-LP set (!) with printed inner sleeves, containing intensive liner notes and featuring a newly remastered audience recording of the concert from May 9, 1976 at the Sahara Tahoe Hotel in Lake Tahoe.
In 2008 'Rainbow Records' released a 2-CD set in 2008 containing the complete concert in improved quality.
One thing is clear: this concert is a must-see for every fan. Elvis was obviously in a very relaxed mood and didn't care that the hotel management was still desperately trying to force him to play shorter shows. In fact, Elvis gave the crowd more than they probably expected and was on stage for the longest time he had ever performed (an impressive two-hour set), singing, laughing, and talking as if he were chatting with friends in the living room of Graceland.

The recording has now been carefully processed using the latest technology a newly remastered version in the best possible quality, revealing details that have never been heard before!
A few words about the contents: Of course, you'll find the tracklist at the end of this announcement, but we'd like to highlight some real gems of this set. A rare and unrehearsed version of "Return To Sender" deserves mention, as does another rarity: "Young And Beautiful." "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," dedicated to Linda Thompson and sung with passion, is also included. Elvis tells a very funny story about the "boat scene" in the film "Blue Hawaii" and even sings a few lines of his "Sun" classic "Blue Moon of Kentucky."
Overall, there is a lot to discover when listening to Elvis's not only longest, but also very unusual concert!

EIN Note: The previous 'Rainbow Records' was an OK quality audience recording, hopefully it will be improved for 2026 - Check audio samples before purchasing - Check with your local Elvis Dealer...

The publicity notes...
... After the success of our first vinyl release, 'The Return of a Prodigy' (in 'Elvis 1969' boxset) we received many requests to release 'A Study of Elvis Presley's 'In Concert'' on vinyl.
Since 'For God and Country' (Hawaii 1961) is still being worked on, and we've already completed the vinyl mastering for "In Concert" we are able to surprise you with this fantastic release and even have some really great gifts!

These records are of the highest quality 180 gram vinyl, the total clear vinyl.

Everything housed in a full color gatefold sleeve with extra printed inner sleeves and Japanese Anti-static inner cover to protect your precious vinyl.

Also, the set list has been re-arranged to have a correct set list of Omaha with some extra songs from Rapid City on the right spot.
We strive for the best quality and affordability within those limits. We won't compromise on quality. That’s our promise.

As a BONUS we included a large poster of the October 3, 1977, CBS announcement in color.

GRM have made all the known 11 round sticker badges, as well as the 6 rectangular ones.
Because they're so special, we're giving dealers the opportunity to offer them all separately or as a set.

'ELVIS; Live At Boston Garden ‘71' MRS Camden release: From the budget 'MRS Camden' label a new release for May 2026.

'Elvis In Concert -Tempe Fever' New Import CD: From the 'Knock Out' label Elvis' March 23, 1977, concert at Arizona State University in Tampa, Arizona. (EIN Note it is TEMPE, not Tampa!)
The publicity notes...
.. It's the first stop on his new 1977 tour, which concludes April 3.
Just before stepping off stage, Elvis whispered to his cousin, "You didn't think I could do it, did you?!"
"Dim the lights and let the beat take over. "Tempe Fever" warms the heart with a previously unreleased live concert on CD, recorded on March 23, 1977. This AUDIENCE recording has recently been remastered for its premiere release.
This is Elvis Presley in his final year on stage, focused and ready to deliver one of his finest performances to date. The electricity is undeniable. The emotion is profound. From a deeply personal version of "My Way" to the intensity of "Fever." The tenderness of “And I Love You So” captivates, while the show reaches its climax with a truly magnificent rendition of “How Great Thou Art.”
EIN Note: Previously out as a CDR 'Tour Opening Tempe' the audience recording is over-powered with the sound of screaming fans near the mic.- Check audio before purchase. (terrible 'AI' cover photo too!)

The publicity notes...
... To accompany our release of "A Grande Finale In Indianapolis," we're returning to the summer of 1977 with a powerful piece.
an AUDIENCE RECORDING "Riverfront" focuses on Elvis' penultimate concert, recorded at the Riverfront Coliseum on June 25, 1977.
Remastered, the show sounds better than ever, warm and alive, thanks to the energy of the crowd. Elvis was clearly enjoying the moment that night, and despite visiting the dentist before the concert, he gave his fans a spectacular performance.
Housed in a digipack filled with concert photos, "Riverfront" is a largely previously unreleased document of Elvis Presley's final days on stage.
EIN Note: Previously out as 'Since Cincinatti' it is an average quality audience recording - Check audio before purchase.

Elvis New Top 10 Billboard Album: Forbes reports how the 'EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert' soundtrack debuts on Billboard's Soundtracks chart and also in Top Album Sales and Top Country Albums rankings
EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert is a mix between a documentary and a concert film, and fans of the superstar have turned it into a box office win. A short time after the film hit theaters, an accompanying soundtrack has reached a number of Billboard charts in America, becoming a fast bestseller.
EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert debuts inside Billboard Top 10
on Soundtrack Album charts at #6.
Note that the biopic soundtrack 'ELVIS' as well as 'Elvis by the Presleys' both previously topped the chart.

For some odd reason it is still not in the Top 200 albums chart
However EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert is also
Top Album Sales #13 (new entry)
Top Country Albums #43 (new entry)
On the Top Country Albums 'Elv1s: 30 #1' is still at #39.

'Charlotte Coliseum 1977' Dodgy Import Vinyl: From the "Public Domain" Homespun label a vinyl release of  Charlotte Coliseum Feb 21, 1977. - - Out 10 April 2026
The publicity notes include...
...Take a trip back in time and witness a poignant moment in music history with this extraordinary live recording from Elvis Presley's final tour. (EIN, Not True) Captured at the Charlotte Coliseum on February 21st, 1977, this performance stands as a vivacious testament to the enduring magnetism, emotion, and unmistakable voice of the King of Rock 'n' Roll. Now available on vinyl, this recording offers collectors and fans alike the chance to experience Elvis in one of the most compelling and human performances of his later years.
By early 1977, the weight of superstardom and relentless touring was undeniable, yet what shines through this concert is not decline--but defiance. Elvis steps onto the stage with an intensity that feels urgent and deeply personal, delivering a show charged with powerful emotion and vocal conviction. His voice, weathered yet expressive, carries a grain that only comes from lived experience, transforming each song into a heartfelt statement, rather than a routine performance.
The setlist is a sweeping journey through the many sides of Elvis Presley. Among the many standout moments is a deeply symbolic rendition of "My Way," where Elvis channels reflection, pride, and vulnerability into every line, earning thunderous applause. "Reconsider Baby" brings a gritty blues swagger that reminds listeners of his roots and effortless command of the genre. Perhaps most unforgettable is "Unchained Melody," performed from the piano - a breath-taking highlight that captures Elvis at his most exposed and sincere, his voice soaring with aching beauty and restraint.
This release has been remastered from the original WBXT-FM radio broadcast (EIN: Not True!) , preserving the warmth and immediacy of the live sound while enhancing clarity and depth. The result is a listening experience that places you right there in the Coliseum, surrounded by the roar of the crowd and the unmistakable presence of Elvis himself.
Pressed on vinyl in strictly limited quantities, this edition is more than a record--it's a historical document, a collector's piece, and a moving tribute to one of the greatest performers of all time. Whether you are a lifelong Elvis devotee or a discerning vinyl enthusiast, this release offers a rare opportunity to own a powerful snapshot of the King in his final chapter--still commanding the stage, still connecting, and still unforgettable.
EIN NOTE: The cover is identical to the dodgy 'Elvis Presley Greatest Hits Live - Broadcast Collection' we recently reviewed. (see review here)
The Charlotte 1977 tracks on that collection had a muffled sound
Of course this concert was never broadcast on WBXT-FM.
Elvis never performed 'Polk Salad Annie' or 'Where No One Stands Alone' in Charlotte despite them being on this release!
Apart from that there is nothing dodgy about this release!

'EPiC' Soundtrack released: The 'EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert' Soundtrack CD was released yesterday and not only is it a fabulous compilation but Baz, of course, has some fun with the cover art.
It's 75 minutes of "NEW" Elvis truly very, very, very enjoyable.
It is basically the movie soundtrack (with full length songs where cut down).
The "mash-ups" are great fun and the original Elvis versions have been remastered to glorious effect, new bass lines and redubbed backing-vocals where needed.
Elvis' vocal is super-clear and has an amazing presence.
It's hard to believe this material was recorded over 50 years ago.

Some fans didn't like the re-worked 'In The Ghetto' studio version in the movie but the full-length mix is very clever, capturing the power of Elvis' vocal to an eerie empty landscape.
The soundscape is glorious - as it should be.
The Hampton Roads live material sound massive.

The last 20 minutes of the movie is basically all here and an impressive listen.
"Men with broken hearts" is mixed into the end of 'In the Ghetto', then 'Walk a Mile' straight to 'Suspicious Minds', "bring the curtain down" and 'C.H.F.I.L'.
It's bloody marvellous. - BUY A COPY TODAY! - Check out the "Listening Party" below

'Elvis: The Last Concert' FTD Set: FTD is pleased to announce the historical release of 'Elvis: The Last Concert'.
Released as a 3-CD 5” digipak, this set features the first official release of his final live performance at the Market Square Arena, Indianapolis, June 26,1977.
With priority given to historical content, this amateur recording has been digitally enhanced by Tony Stuchbury (of Mono>Stereo fame) to improve its many sonic deficiencies. It is in Mono.
Two additional concerts augment this 3-CD set; October 18, 1976 Arena Sioux Falls and December 30, 1976 Omni Coliseum, Atlanta.
These were previously released with the 'On The Road With Elvis' Bruce Jackson book.
EIN Note: Good news that Elvis' last concert is finally getting an official release. The timing is good since modern technology can remove annoying audio faults heard on previous bootlegs.
The pairing of the concert with the other previously released performances seems a little odd.

'Elvis: Thru Labor Day 1972' New Import Vinyl: Brand new Import Double-Vinyl, The publicity notes...
From August 4 through September 4, 1972, Elvis Presley once again ruled the stage at the Las Vegas Hilton during his legendary Summer Festival engagement — his seventh season at the venue since his triumphant return to live performances in 1969.
By this point, Elvis was no longer simply a star attraction in Las Vegas — he was its undisputed king.
This exclusive 2×LP vinyl set, mastered especially for vinyl playback, presents carefully curated highlights from the Summer Festival 1972 season, newly remastered for superior sound quality.
Pressed on audiophile 180 gram vinyl, the release is available in classic black or striking red vinyl.
The performances capture Elvis at a fascinating artistic peak. While timeless classics such as “Suspicious Minds,” and “Hound Dog” remains as career cornerstones, it is the dramatic ballads and contemporary material that define this engagement. Songs like “What Now My Love,” “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling,” and “An American Trilogy” reveal a mature performer exploring deeper emotional territory with confidence and intensity.

In addition to the main concert highlights, this set offers fans a deeper look behind the scenes. Among the treasures is the rehearsal version of “Any Day Now”, recorded during practice sessions at the Las Vegas Hilton, along with rare news reports and interviews with Elvis, capturing the atmosphere surrounding the season.

The cover design is deeply inspired by the original billboards that dominated Las Vegas and outside the Hilton Hotel during August and September 1972. That unmistakable groovy 70’s visual style has been carefully reimagined and carried forward into this deluxe vinyl edition, creating a release that not only sounds authentic — but looks the part as well.

More than just a live recording, this release documents a moment when Elvis Presley was balancing nostalgia with reinvention — redefining his legacy night after night on the Vegas stage.

Both concerts have been remastered for optimal listening.

"Elvis Charts a New No.1 US Album"!: Having just posted the news below that last year's Christmas chart placings were rather poor for Elvis compared to other years, Forbes has posted this news..
Elvis 'The Classic Christmas Album' hits No.1 for the first time, more than a decade after its release and long after the superstar's death.
Elvis Presley doesn’t need to sell another album or appear on another Billboard chart ever again, as he's already earned his place in the history books thanks to his pioneering career and massive music legacy.
It must still be exciting for longtime Presley fans to see his name appear on the weekly rankings decades after his passing, as it is one more confirmation that he is truly the King and always will be.
In the US 'The Classic Christmas Album' surged on every chart this year.
The set managed to posthumously earn Elvis a new No.1, albeit on a very specific chart, which is still quite the feat for a musician who hasn't recorded any new music since 1976.
'The Classic Christmas Album' jumps from No.6 to No.1 on the Top Rock and Alternative Albums chart which more often than not features the classic old rock albums. Last week Pink Floyd was number 1 and Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' is always in the chart.
On the main Billboard 200 the 'The Classic Christmas Album' at #22.
The set is also up at #20 on the Top Streaming Albums chart.
'The Essential Elvis Presley' also re-entered the top 40 on Billboard Top Country Albums up from #42 to #35.

'ELVIS: The Raging Tiger Closing Night 1974’ MRS CD Review: From the MRS label ‘Las Vegas ‘The Raging Tiger’ Closing Night 1974’ is a 2CD Deluxe-Set and 2LP Gatefold Vinyl release. The set features one of Elvis’ most controversial performances recorded during his closing night at the Las Vegas Hilton, on the Sept 2nd 1974. This important performance has never been officially released but it is now remastered and mixed into STEREO.
This was an incredibly emotional show for Elvis at the end of one of his most impressive Las Vegas seasons with his emotions poured into songs such as It's Midnight, You Gave Me A Mountain and If You Talk In Your Sleep while at the same time showing his real anger at the recent negative press that he had been receiving.
There was also unique versions of Bringing It Back and Aubrey where Elvis joined in on VOICE's performance
There is so much to absorb in this emotional roller-coaster ride of a performance, and some of it is indeed very confronting. However it is a truly passion filled show and Elvis’ emotional soul was open and he wanted to share it with his loving audience....
EIN's Piers Beagley delves deep into this dramatic concert with a 4000 word review of this extraordinary MRS release

“Elvis The Final Edition” Test Pressing Boxset - limited pressing of only THREE copies!: The “grey market" for Elvis release has been a fascinating one in recent years. While finding new material has largely dried up, labels such as MRS, Gravel Road and MBM have been enterprising in “remastering”, “repackaging” and offering “mono to stereo” and “multi-media” products. In many cases releases have been “very limited” editions.
Recently “10 copies only” “2LP test pressing” releases of “Rockin’ in Georgia” and “Elvis Catch A Falling Star” sold out quickly.
Hot on their heels is an even more limited release, the “only 3 copies pressed” sealed boxset……Catch A Falling Star - The Final Edition”.
It is described as:
“Four different gatefolds joined together form the shape of an Elvis image. Naturally, each set has its own image.
-All four double gatefolds (each gatefold is a different variation) are sealed individually and hand-numbered. They are kept together by an OBI with a number on the front page and details of the contents in the spines. There are three variations of the OBI.
Each double gatefold includes the original 2 LP set on Smoked silver and Yellow vinyl and 3 CDs+DVD: original CD Smooth Chicago Nights, bonus CD, DVD-R and CD with exclusive audience recording of the Anaheim, November 30, 1976.
Other features are an exclusive double-sided printed insert panel and hand-numbered exclusive Die-cut fold-out sleeve".
The asking price is an eye-watering 750 Euros!
EIN is aware of other companies doing similar high-priced "Test Pressings"

Elvis Returns To Billboard Christmas Charts: Forbes has once again noted Elvis' chart popularity at Christmas.
.. Elvis Presley is one of a handful of musical acts who still manages to return to the Billboard charts every December thanks to their popular holiday music. Presley’s “Blue Christmas” stands out among the many, many holiday cuts and his 'The Classic Christmas Album' becomes a winner again charting at #55 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.
Elvis sees both of those titles return to multiple Billboard charts this week.

Elvis ends this show with 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' instead of “Can’t Help Falling In Love’ - Definitely the highlight of the show!
A very nice show with songs like “It’s Impossible”, “Blue Suede Shoes / Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On”, “I’m Leavin’” and “Lawdy Miss Clawdy”.

We release this as a very limited edition of only 350 copies with 2 different covers (175 copies each cover)! Plus 8-page booklet.

We have a regular cover version and also a cover version with the suit Elvis wears during this show but made with AI (because there is no clear photo available).

EIN Note: Previously released as 'Las Vegas Midnight Show' bootleg the audience recording is OK quality. - and WHY do an obvious AI looking photo! (grrr)

'At The Dorsey Brothers Stage Show' Import Vinyl: From 'Knock Out Records' import label..
... A truly remarkable long-playing record showcasing the television appearances that first introduced America to the one and only King of Rock ‘n’ Roll!
Back in early 1956, a young, energetic Elvis Presley stepped before the CBS cameras on The Dorsey Brothers’ Stage Show and delivered a string of electrifying performances that set the nation buzzing.
With his thrilling blend of rhythm & blues, country swing, and tender ballads, Elvis brought a brand-new sound, and a whole lot of excitement to living rooms from coast to coast.
From the moment he opened his mouth to sing, audiences knew they were witnessing something extraordinary. His unmistakable voice, the driving beat of his band, and his spirited, head-turning stage presence signaled the arrival of a bold new talent destined to reshape the very sound of American popular music.

From the opening note to the final fade-out, this album captures all the youthful fire and irresistible charm that won Elvis the hearts of millions. It is, without question, an essential addition to any Presley fan’s collection and a must-hear chapter in the story of American music.

These performances have been newly restored and mastered into the best sound quality possible! You got to hear it to believe it!
Now for the very first time these unforgettable early television appearances are gathered together on one special limited- edition LP presenting these historic performances in newly mixed STEREO sound.

LIMITED EDITION TO 400 Copies! Individually numbered and offered in two striking vinyl colors, Green and Blue!
Every set also includes two glossy 30x30 bonus photos of Elvis on the Dorsey Brothers’ Stage Show!

CD Review 'Greatest Hits Live Broadcast Collection': Recently released by the Czech ‘Live Icons’ public domain label this interesting 40 track compilation was described as Elvis Presley ‘Live 1970 to 1977’ 'His Greatest Hits Live Broadcast Collection'.
While EIN was 100% certain that we would already own every track on this release, we couldn't quite understand why it had such a random track-listing.
‘Can't Help Falling In Love’ was in the middle of CD one while 'C.C Rider' was in the middle of disc 2. Also some of the tracks could not be genuinely described as Elvis’ Greatest Hits.
It did however appear to be an intriguing compilation of 40 live songs from various Elvis concerts and so we put our money down to discover what it was all about.
The 2-CD set costs around AU$45 = US$29 = £22 and so the question surely is - Did we waste our money?
The publicity suggest that "these live radio broadcasts are curated to show the King at his most spontaneous and unguarded."
EIN's Piers Beagley checks out this new 40-track set to see if it actually offers anything worth buying..

‘Elvis South Bend Indiana - On Tour 1974’ New MRS: UK Label ‘Memphis Recording Service’ (MRS) will release a CD Deluxe and 2LP Gatefold titled ‘On Tour 1974 - South Bend Indiana’ in January 2026.

Near the start of his final tour of 1974, Elvis performed in South Bend Indiana for two nights starting on 30 September. Elvis was in better health and humour for the second concert, presented here, even throwing in a spontaneous performance of ‘Steamroller Blues’ as a crowd request.

Revealing the true atmosphere of this October 1st show MRS have remastered and mixed this concert into STEREO for the first time ever.
Click for high-res pic.

The accompanying booklet features rare photographs and memorabilia from the event and also includes liner notes that set the scene.

Previously released by FTD on 'Dragonheart' but the show was edited.

The 2LP set and will be available in both Black and Clear vinyl.
Please note, the clear vinyl is ONLY available from exclusive Elvis dealers and fan clubs and NOT thru mainstream public stores.

Click for high-res pic - the vinyl LP cover is again a stunner!

EIN Notes: There is no doubt that Elvis' fourth tour of 1974 was one of the low points of his career. His opening show in College Park (Sept 27) is often noted as being one of Elvis' worst concerts of all time!
However by the fifth concert of the tour Elvis was in a very different state of mind from the previous shows.
Elvis is actually in an unusual mischievous mood, laughing and teasing the crowd. He doesn't ramble on as he did in the previous Las Vegas season and is having some fun. He even jokes about the previous night's review.

This release includes 'Killing Me Softly' by Voice.

'Spring Break In Las Vegas' New Import Vinyl: Millbranch Music continues to deliver its high-quality vinyl releases, crafted for true fans and limited to 200 copies on black vinyl and transparent violet vinyl!
'Spring Break In Las Vegas' is a beautiful 2-LP set with printed inner sleeves, featuring details liner notes, and includes a newly restored soundboard of Elvis' March 22, 1975, Midnight Show, Vegas Hilton.
Plus extra bonus material from Elvis' March 1975 shows!
This concert was first released on the legendary 1996 “Profile” CD Box Set and immediately found its way into the "Top Ten" of highly rated Elvis concerts of the 1970s, mainly because of the perfect song choice, which suited Elvis so well in the spring of 1975 – but also because Elvis really enjoyed himself on stage and sang wonderfully and with passion.
The recording is now sourced from the original digital master (EIN: Digital recording in 1975, really?) and Millbranch Music presents a new Remastered stereo version that reveals details never heard before!
March 22, 1975: It was the week before Easter, the evening of the national “Easter Seals Telethon” broadcast coast to coast across America.
While most of the country was glued to their televisions, Elvis Presley was on stage at the Las Vegas Hilton. That same evening, he quietly donated $5,000 to charity.
Available on two collector's editions
- Classic black vinyl - Transparent purple vinyl
Each release comes with a full-color printed inner sleeve featuring rare photos and liner notes.
A wonderful tribute to one of Elvis's best performances – at least from 1975!
EIN Note: also released on the FTD 'Las Vegas 1975'

‘‘The Raging Tiger’ Closing Night 1974’ OUT NOW: The UK MRS label has released ‘Las Vegas ‘The Raging Tiger’ Closing Night 1974’ release as a 2CD Deluxe-Set and 2LP Gatefold Vinyl.

The set features one of Elvis’ most controversial performances recorded during his closing night at the Las Vegas Hilton, on the 2nd of September 1974.

This important performance has never been officially released and now it is also remastered for 2025 and mixed into stereo.
Click for high-res pic.

The accompanying booklet features rare photographs and memorabilia from the event and also includes liner notes that set the scene. This was an incredibly emotional show for Elvis at the end of one of his most impressive Las Vegas seasons with his emotions poured into songs such as 'It's Midnight', 'You Gave Me A Mountain' and 'If You Talk In Your Sleep' while at the same time showing his real anger at the recent negative press that he had been receiving.

CD Review 'The Joan Deary Tapes Vol1' - and has Ernst won the war?’: Two years ago EIN posted an article suggesting that the Elvis bootleg era was over, that FTD and Ernst Jorgensen had truly won the war.
So it was a surprise to many that a new bootleg label ‘Joan Deary Inc’ suddenly popped up two months ago promising a very similar series of releases to the Madison ‘A Legendary Performer’ set.
They promised "Unique content... with never issued before outtakes. Some very different mixes among other glorious sounding tracks. Every track comes in great sound quality and has been remastered for optimal listening pleasure..."
EIN was suspicious from the start - to be honest I saw no need to purchase this CD - but several EIN readers wanted to know more before they put down their hard earned cash.
Go here as EIN's Piers Beagley investigates to see if there is life in this new series of Elvis bootleg releases...
Please read this before ordering ... we've done the work so that you don't have to!
